77- Time of Growth and Purpose

Hello Jewish and Israeli Artists, thanks for your interest in submitting your artwork for the "77" Pop-Up Exhibit & Sale organized by Stars in the Arts.

Theme: This year, Israel celebrates 77 years of independence, since 1948. In the Kabbalah, the number 77 symbolizes spiritual awakening, divine guidance, and a time of spiritual growth and purpose. We would love to see how you interpret this theme.

Exhibition runs from May 8th to May 11th:

Thursday, May 8th from 5 pm to 9 pm Exhibition/Opening Reception

Friday, May 9th from 12 pm to 4 pm

Saturday, May 10th from 2pm to 6pm

Sunday, May 11th from 2 pm to 6 pm

Art Pick Drop off: TBD

Art Pick Up: End of the Show, Sunday, May 11th at 6 pm.

Location: NYC - Upper West Side (location to be disclosed)

Tickets will be sold for this event; selected artists enter for free.

You will drop off and pick up your artwork. There is a fee of $25 to submit five pieces of art. Once selected, there is a $100 fee to participate. You agree to donate 25% of the work sold to a Jewish organization that supports Israel - SITA will select the organization.

ARTWORK ACCEPTED:

-Get inspired by the theme. Contemporary, Abstract, Traditional, or Jewish-inspired.

-Accepted mediums: Paintings, Mixed Media on Canvas, Embellished Prints, Collages, and Photography. Wall Sculptures.

-Artwork Size: Artwork that will be displayed on the walls should not exceed 48" inches on the largest side.

DEADLINE to submit: Thursday, April 24th at 11:59 pm.

Review Process: Our team of curators will review all submissions after the submission's closing date and will reach out to selected artists for further discussion. Please follow @starsinthearts on Instagram for updates. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of submissions, we are unable to provide individual feedback on declined submissions.

Liability: Please note that we are not an insured entity. While we are going to be most careful and respectful with your pieces, we will not be responsible for any damages. If selected and this is a concern for you, please insure your work privately.
